50 Ways Brochure Re-Design Concepts
50 Ways to Use ClassVR was the most utilised piece of promotional collateral used by ClassVR. It was often given away on stands at exhibitions, given to new starters in their welcome pack at Avantis Education, translated into at least 10 other languages for use by sales partners in other countries and was also available as a digital download on the ClassVR website.
It consisted of a collection of 50 case studies which detailed how schools from across the world had used ClassVR headsets and the resources available in the ClassVR portal to enhance student learning. Set to a template, these would cover learning aims, context of the lesson, details of the session and outcomes of it, and would be written by the teacher who had taken the lesson together with images supplied by the school in question.
As part of the ongoing brand development of ClassVR, several meetings were held to discuss the development of the design of the 50 Ways document, particularly with the Educational Services team consisting of several former teachers. After these meetings a series of concept layouts were designed, with further discussion on the layouts and if there was the potential there to add anything that would help it’s appeal to a teacher who reading the document, such as links to other subjects in the curriculum which would benefit from utilising the resources in the case study or draw inspiration from it.
Ultimately this re-design was halted when the discussions over the re-design and launch of a new version of the ClassVR website was discussed and it was decided that the case studies in the 50 Ways would be made available on an individual basis, via a search and download function.
Original 50 Ways page layouts are shown below on a grey background for comparison purposes.
